We live on food. Which item we takes every day for energy, built our body and keeps our health good is called food. There are many kinds of food we eat every day. These are rice, ruti, bread, muri, potatoes, biscuits, cereals, fish, meat, milk, vegetables, fruits, oil, ghee, sweets, yugurt, cheese, chips etc. But all the foods are not good for health. Which foods are keeping us healthy that are good foods? It depends on each item containing proper food values. We should take many balanced diets every day. Balance diet is including in a list. That is chart five groups of foods. This chart also tells us how much of each group of food we should eat. This chart is called food pyramid. We show in the food pyramid at the base, there are breads, cereals, rice, noodles, potatoes etc. We should eat plenty of these foods. The next group we see some fresh fruits and vegetables. We must eat them regularly. We see next upper serials; there are dairy produces-milk cheeses, yugurt and meat, fish, beans, nuts and eggs. We eat these items moderate. That’s important for health but not need too much of them. At the top we have seen fats, oils, sweets etc. We should eat very little of these items. All need follow a routine of taken food. Then we pay more attention at our duties.
