Sports are the part and parcel of education. Every educational institution holds a sports day annually. A sport day at school is very exciting for the students. They have no lessons on that day. They decorate the main gate of the school and the field beautifully. Many guests and the students are present in the field. The chief guest declares the sports open. There are different groups. Each group displays different events. The main events are races, long jump, high jump, cock-fight, sack race, musical chair, biscuit races etc. The cockfight and the musical chair are very amusing. The chief guest distributes prizes among the winners. It is really a happy occasion for the students. Sports day is an important day of the students. They get great pleasure on this day.
