Introduction : Rice is our main food. We get rice from paddy. About half of the people of the world live on rice.
How and where grown : At first the farmers till the land very well. Then they sow the seeds come up. Within three or four months, the crops are ready for harvesting. Then they husk paddy and get rice. Rice is grown well in China, Thailand, India and Bangladesh.
Kinds : There are four kinds of rice. They are Aus, Aman, Boro and Irri. Muri, Chira, Khai and Cakes are made from rice.
Conclusion : Our life is fully dependent on rice. So, we should grow more rice in Bangladesh.
ধান/চাল/ভাত রচনা
সূচনা : ভাত আমাদের প্রধান খাদ্য। আমরা ধান থেকে চাল পেয়ে থাকি। পৃথিবীর জনসংখ্যার প্রায় অর্ধেক ভাত খেয়ে থাকে।
কিভাবে এবং কোথায় জন্মে : প্রথমে কৃষকেরা জমি ভালােভাবে চাষ করে। তারপর তারা ধানের বীজ রােপন করে। কয়েকদিনের মধ্যেই চারা গজায়। তিন অথবা চার মাসের মধ্যে শস্য কাটার উপযুক্ত হয় । এরপর তারা ধান ভানে এবং চাল পায়। ধান চীন, জাপান, থাইল্যান্ড, ভারত এবং বাংলাদেশে জন্মে।
প্রকারভেদ : আমাদের দেশে চার জাতের ধান আছে। এগুলাে হচ্ছে আউশ, আমন, বােরাে এবং ইরি। চাল হতে মুড়ি, চিড়া খই এবং পিঠা হয়।
উপসংহার : ভাতের উপর আমাদের জীবন নির্ভরশীল। সুতরাং আমাদের প্রচুর পরিমান ধান উৎপাদন করতে হবে।
